Do you see the pattern of those who stay with it? Skill!

I watched the Billboard Awards last night with my younger son and what we talked a lot about while watching the performances was SKILL.

I do not watch a lot of TV and for some reason, I was fascinated by a few things as I watched.

Did you enjoy it?

I thought I saw a few of them lipsyncing.

Could not believe how good Paula Abdul and Madonna looked and how well they danced.

The production value of Madonna’s performance was fire.

Had no idea who the kids in the last picture were.

That one word that kept coming up about their choreography, the performance of it all, the talents was SKILL!!

It reminded me that is you practice a task long enough…. it will not matter if you are not perfect. If you stick to something long enough without giving up you develop a skillset and become an expert.

That skill is expertise and it will make you money.

Pictures collected from Google images.

Mariah’s net worth is said to be $300 Million. Her path hasn’t been easy, she even said last night when accepting the Lifetime Achievement award that she still struggles to fit in. Yet, she is known for being a powerful “Songbird Supreme”.

Drake’s net worth is said to be $140 Million. He grew up in the six and acted when he was younger. He kept at it and now has the most Billboard Awards of any one artist, ever.

BTS, I had no idea who they were until they came on the stage last night and dominated the crowd. Their net worth is said to be $60 Million. There were girls crying in the crowd, they seem to have a secret hand signal with their devoted followers. I checked out their IG and although I don’t know how long they have been at this, I watched one of them play the piano like they had been practicing forever.

See the pattern of those who stay with it?

They all worked with professionals on their RISE to support their success.

So, keep at it.

Strive to be at the top.

Be the best you can at what YOU do.

Stand out.

Have a great day!
