Every December, something special happens in our community.
For 19 days, we shift—from the constant pull of productivity and performance to the quiet, radiant power of kindness. We trade the pressure to “do more” for the opportunity to be more: more compassionate, more present, more connected, and more generous with our time, energy, and attention.
Since the first year I launched my business page during this time of year, I’ve shared a daily invitation to participate in Random Acts of Christmas Kindness. It has become one of my favorite traditions—not because it grows my business, but because it grows something much more meaningful: joy, community, connection, and the ripple effect of positive impact.
This is the only time of year when I intentionally shift away from my regular content about leadership, growth, change and business transformation, and instead devote nearly every post to kindness. And here’s why…
Kindness Is Contagious—In the Best Way
Research in positive psychology shows that kindness has a measurable effect on both the giver and the receiver. A simple act—holding a door, writing a heartfelt note, buying a coffee for the person behind you—can elevate mood, restore hope, and even reduce stress for hours afterward.
When we practice kindness, we are consciously choosing to interrupt the busyness of life with humanity. We are choosing to see each other. We are choosing to lift each other. And we are choosing to model the kind of world we want to live in.
Imagine if thousands of us made that choice for 19 days straight.
It’s a Season of Giving—But Also a Season of Overwhelm
The holidays can be beautiful, but they can also be heavy. People carry quiet burdens—financial stress, grief, loneliness, burnout, or the pressure to make everything “perfect.”
Kindness eases that weight. It reminds someone that they are not invisible. It restores dignity, connection, and hope.
My goal with each daily act is to make it simple. Accessible. Doable. Small actions that create big feelings—both for the recipient and for the person who chooses to say yes to perform the act of kindness.
A Joyful Tradition That Builds Community
Over the years, something wonderful has happened: people have told me that this tradition has become part of their December rhythm too. Families print the acts and place them on the fridge. Teams share them in group chats and complete them together. Friends challenge each other to stay consistent.
Kindness creates community quickly. It turns strangers into allies. It turns a social media post into a movement.
And that is something worth nurturing.
Why I Offer a Giveaway
Those who participate and comment each day that they completed the act of kindness are entered to win a personalized copy of Dream Boldly, I Dare You — Course II: Manifest Miracles on Demand. *
The giveaway isn’t the point—it’s a celebration. A way to honour the people who choose to show up intentionally. A way to say thank you for making the world a little brighter.
Why I Keep Doing This—Year After Year
I do it because kindness is leadership. I do it because joy is an act of courage. I do it because this community is full of people who care, who want to do good, and who appreciate a nudge toward something meaningful.
I do it because spreading kindness does more than make someone else’s day—it reconnects us with our own humanity and reminds us that we belong to each other.
And honestly? It just feels good.
Join Me—And Bring a Friend
The 19 days begin tomorrow.
If you haven’t already, turn on notifications so you don’t miss the daily invitations. Comment on the post when you complete each act for your entry into the giveaway. And tag a business bestie to join you—because kindness multiplies when we do it together.
Let’s make this season a little brighter. Let’s create a ripple effect that extends far beyond December. Let’s spread joy, hope, and kindness—one small act at a time.
I’m so glad you’re here. 🎄✨
