This month, I reached a milestone that means a great deal to me — over 15,000 connections on LinkedIn.
That number isn’t just about reach; it’s a reflection of what happens when you consistently show up, contribute value, and build genuine relationships over time.
LinkedIn has long been my favourite social media platform — not for its algorithms, but for its ability to connect professionals to opportunity. Through it, I’ve trained thousands of professionals on how to network with purpose, elevate their personal brands, and attract meaningful opportunities.
It’s also the platform that helped me discover and secure my current role, attract incredible clients, and now will be a key differentiator as I prepare for my next role. It continues to play a part in my professional growth and personal brand.
🌱 Consistency Pays Dividends
When I say “Consistency Pays Dividends,” I’m talking about the compound effect of showing up with purpose — day after day, post after post, conversation after conversation.
Consistency builds:
- Trust — people notice who continues to contribute authentically.
- Credibility — demonstrating expertise through insight, not volume.
- Connection — meaningful engagement that compounds over time.
These dividends are not just professional — they’re deeply personal. They remind us that relationships and opportunities are built over seasons, not moments.
🤝 LinkedIn as a Platform for Professional Flourishing
In my coaching and leadership work, I often share the belief that people are creative, capable, wise, and good.
LinkedIn gives us space to see each other in that light — to share stories, lessons, and encouragement. Over the years, I’ve seen how consistency on this platform can:
- Help professionals discover new opportunities.
- Support leaders in growing their influence and confidence.
- Strengthen engagement and belonging within teams.
It’s not about being everywhere or posting daily — it’s about showing up intentionally and contributing meaningfully.
🚀 Looking Ahead
As I continue to seek even greater impact, I’m reflecting on how the principle of consistency will guide me forward.
My background in Coaching, Learning & Development, and Change Leadership, along with over 25 years in Financial Services has made me a great utility leader. Being able to pull from a large toolkit. With 15 degrees and certificates, my vast education is just the beginning. I’ve spent decades building context to be able to support in the moment.
LinkedIn — and the relationships built here — have prepared me for my next chapter.
I’ll continue doing what I’ve always done: showing up to connect, inspire, and help others flourish.
✨ A Message to My Network
To everyone who has connected, engaged, and learned alongside me — thank you.
Each comment, conversation, and collaboration has been part of a much larger journey of growth and shared purpose.
“Consistency Pays Dividends.” Not only in business — but in how we lead, learn, and lift each other up every day.
Here’s to continuing to connect, grow, and build together — one consistent step at a time.
